Answer #1

There are four agents such as the family, school, friends and the media that shapes and affects one’s political thoughts and behaviors and their tendency to vote. In my point of view media plays a major role in forming, shaping and exhibiting one’s political behavior and participation because at home we don’t discuss politics much, with peers we only discuss other issues and in the school we only study history but never discuss about the contemporary politics. We are always connected to media and media has got lots of information, especially during the election period. The constantly telecast news about each candidates, constituencies and their agenda. This constant reiteration forms one’s opinions and affects one’s decision making.
