Autisim is a lifelong condition. It is a developmental disorder that can hamper the ability to communicate and interact with others. It can be caused by genetic and environmental factors.There are two common symptoms of Autism in the adults

• Damaged social interaction
• Damaged verbal and nonverbal communication skills.

Adults in autism can have high functioning. They can face the problem while talking and that can hamper her or his everyday social life. This kind of communication issue can lead to many kinds of other problem. Such as

• Difficulty to feel emotions.
• lack of understanding with the others like the school friends, parents and other family members.
• Lack of participation, most of the adults with autism only participates in some specific activities.
• A deep knowledge in one specific topic.
• Adults with Autism can exhibit some repetitive behaviors.

These all are the common symptoms of autism. But these all symptoms are not for all the adults who have autism. Not all the adults have the same kind of symptoms. According to the researches, the behaviors of an adult can depend on the situation.

Adults in the Home

The adults with autism always wants to have a best friend in home but never got one. They wants people treat them like normal people, They dont like unexpected events in their home. They always follow a strict schedule in their home.They often can invent their own expression to interact with their parents in the home.

Adults in the school

When the adults are having conversation with the teacher in the school, they always prefer not to look at teacher. Instead of looking at the teacher they looks at the wall or shoes.

An adult with autism can face problems while interacting with his or her friends. As they are having some verbal communication issues, so they becames very much conscious while communicating. Most of the adults are unwilling to go to the school.

Adults in the working place

Sometimes an adult with autism feels little comfortable in his working place. Beacause they are really good at solving software coding and other mathematical problems.This kind of ablities can makes them more confident in their working place.

An early diagnosis and behavioural therapies can reduce some of the symptoms and can also helps in the learning and development of an adult who is suffering for autism.
