There are many differences between the juvenile and adult systems.

These are basically different in the terms of age. Juvenile systems serve children between the ages of 10 - 18 years, whereas the adult systems deal with criminals over 18 years.

Adult systems have public trials , whereas juvenile systems do not.

These systems serving children do not face serious consequences such as adults , they are sent to rehabilitation centers.

Adults are normally sent to jails for their crimes , but juveniles are not.
