What is meant in the title by "real love?" What other kinds of love are there, and how do you know when love is real? (from Finding Real Love How to overcome alienation and get closer article)

By “Real Love" I mean Unconditional love. For me the meaning of real love is- ‘What you want is never important but what the other person needs and wants is always supreme’.The other kinds of Love are

1. Eros- Eros is sexual or passionate love, and is the type most akin to our modern construct of romantic love

2. Philia- The hallmark of philia, or friendship, is shared goodwill.

3. Storage- Storage or familial love, is a kind of philia pertaining to the love between parents and their children.

4. Agape- Agape is universal love, such as the love for strangers, nature, or God.

5. Pragma- Pragma is a kind of practical love founded on reason or duty and one’s longer-term interests.

When I feel less self-centered, develops deep feelings for others,when my relationships serves to reduce ego,fosters growth and encourages me to be less selfish and more loving, then I would say that love is real for me.
