Song of Roland is a mediaval epic poem and it is also the first major poem of english literature . There are close similarities between the two personalities i.e. Roland and Aeneid. There are a lot of chaos regarding this topic however the main charecteristics have different roles of play, thus while Aeneid is the undisputed leader of Trojans, Roland was the nephew of the main leader of french Charlemagne. Both the Aenied and Charlemagne holds position with equal power as peoples regards.
