Does brain growth cause cognitive development, or does cognitive development cause the brain to grow? Pick a side in this endless argument and defend

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The brain growth belongs to the growth of the neural system and nervous systems. The number of neurons collectively develop cognition and motor movements. As we grow older our experiences increase because the neural signs help us to understand the sensation and perceptions.

Cognitive development proportionally related to cognitive development because cognition comes from various mental abilities which belong to the mental and neural growth.

For example, an infant learns more effectively than an adult because the growth of neurons speed up during infancy so that it helps to increase cognition while an adult use experiences to learn rather than the direct intervention of nervous system.

We experience a rapid growth of brain tissues and cells which help us to learn and understand faster than adults, it shows the relationship between cognitive development and brain growth.
