explain one key similarity between Islam and either Aristotle’s virtue ethics, Kant’s ethics, or Mill’s utilitarianism, as well as one key difference between the two views
One important similarity between Islam and Aristotle’s virtue ethics is that how both these traditions view the concept of happiness. Both these views belive that happiness is the ultimate goal of humans, and humans strive to attain happiness. But, these both traditions also understand that materialistic things will not make us happy. Aristotle ans islamic values have the same means of attaining happiness, which is by doing charitable acts and good deeds. The difference between the two view is that islam says that there is life after death and humans can achieve ultimate happiness after they die, whereas aristotle beilves that a person cannot be happy after they die.
