i) Explicit knowlege refers to those knowledge or kinds of information that can be easily explained and transfered to others. It includes informations from books, memos, records, documents etc. Most of the factual knowledge and the things that we learn from academics are explicit in nature.

¡¡) Tacit knowledge is otherwise known as implicit knowledge. Explaining and Transfering such kind of knowledge is difficult as compared to implicit knowledge. It involves most of the procedural knowledgeknowledge like driving a car, riding a bicycle, playing a guitar etc.
