Political activism and/or cyberactivism on the internet has opened new avenues.

The geopolitical boundaries of the world have been overcome due to the advent of the internet.

It has given people the liberty to gain momentum which is on a large scale and gives impetus to causes.

From a sociological perspective the conflict theory makes sense, that the internet has given a balancing of power and assuaging conflict and the disseminatiin of knowledge pertaining to it.

Commerce and e-commerce has changed too. It has become more efficient and has gone on to create a separate social institution.
