Write a response to the following passage in your opinion

Political, Economic, social and cultural rights are socio-economic human rights, such as the right to education, right to housing, right to adequate standard of living, right to free speech, and the right to a free trial, right to health and the right to science and culture. Put simply, a contract is an agreement between two parties. If one party violates the terms of the agreement, the contract is no longer valid.Societies are controlled by governments. This is the starting point for discussing social contract theory. Thinkers who believe in this theory argue that people benefit from living together in countries, kingdoms, or under other types of governmental oversight.

Answer #1

Society consists of various institutions such as individuals, families, communities, industries etc. Although society has few norms to follow, it’s controlled by a government either elected or formed by force. These governments decide how much freedom to be given to their citizens and what responsibilities they expect from their citizens. This is called the social contract between the government and its citizens. Ideally speaking a contract becomes invalid if either one of them do not follow what’s to be followed. If the government do not function effectively, it may not get a chance to rule in the next election. If a citizen do not follow the rules, the citizen will be jailed or given some punishment such as fines. Thus social contract binds both the government and its citizens for making the society better without compromising or infringing on each other’s affairs.
