A race is a grouping of humans based on shared physical or social qualities into categories generally viewed as distinct by society.

Race refers to a person's physical characteristics, such as bone structure and skin, hair, or eye color.

b. Will you consider your family or extended family as mixed race?

No, my family or extended family is not a mixed race. We are white Americans.

If no, do you think your extended family is receptive to such diversity if situations arise?

Earlier my family was not receptive to such diversity. But now in our generations, people are quite open-minded. They are quite receptive and believe in equality of people. Even my cousin's girlfriend is an African-American. And our family accepts this.
