Answer #1

The purpose of community psychology is to study the concepts and phenomena of social structure of the community in the perspective of psychology for individual well being and thus promoting human welfare.

It studies the diversities in families for empowerment of the marginalized family. It focuses on the individual factor in comparison to the social factors for the issues in the family with reference to the community. It aims at the prevention of any issues in the family than addressing it later on the onset of the issue. Thus it helps the parents of diverse families to understand and acknowledge the issues within their family and help them to sort out the issues.
