Factors that make eldeele vulnerable to abuse are :

1. Health status : Their old age reduces the capacity to conduct activities of daily living and maintain independence.

2. Cognitive ability : Older people often experience decreased ability of information processing and the problem solving skills because of declining memory capacity.

3. Social Network : Older people are more vulnerable when compared to young people because they are less socially integrated and are more likely to be under stress. Social isolation usually happens more in elderly people because of their retirement, poor health.
