1. yes, i think that a child will exhibit a consistent temperament across their infancy, diffenetly its altered by the environment . With the help of Erik Erikson's theory of development we can justify my answer an in this theory it mention that, in the stage of infancy which is named by him as TRUST vs. MISTRUST . In, this stage of development when a baby is around 1- 2 year they start developing there trust other people with the affection of ther mother and family member.

Later,, an individual exhibit this behaviour in there coming life too, if in this stage infant ll not develop trust with his mother then we can see this issue of distrust in that individual later also.

2. Yes, i have noticed one of my Cousin in his early age whe he was just started learning and observing only. He, generally stops smiling seeing stranger when he go out with his father in park. But, at the same time when he see such different people coming to meet his father he dont react that much, but never show any interest in going out with there friend. I have noticed that he associated his safety with home and presence of his parent .
