Answer #1

Elmira, NY home visitation program was developed by the Rochester University and Colorado Health Center to increase self-sufficiency among young pregnant women. It deploys nurses who will visit the homes of young pregnant mothers to discuss about the way they feel and experience things.

Firstly, they give enough counselling regarding things that they should take care of while they are pregnant and after the child birth. Secondly, they have responsible sex and leave enough time between the first and second child. Thirdly, they also undergo sessions that would give them enough information and first-hand knowledge about raising kids, giving them enough opportunities while at the same time stay in their employment. So, this program helps the young mothers by empowering them and motivating them. So, this program should continue.
