A haiku refers to Japanese style poem it may contain three short lines in a 5-7-5 pattern (common but not necessary). These lines do not rhyme with each other.

Haiku poems were started about the 9th century. It contains words to describe physical world and allow readers to find deeper meaning within it.

An example of Haiku written by me:

Walk my friend,

On the desert or calm Beach.

Life is brutal and kind.

Death of stars and moon,

The rise of the sun

Beautiful mourning and wonderful day.
