Answer #1

According to researchers like; Miles and Carey “heritability and common environment are definitely responsible for individual differences in aggression”. According to researchers the expression of certain genes may control the metabolic pathways which may, in turn, control our behavior; for example according to (Birger et al. 2003; Coccaro et al. 1997) reduced levels of the serotonin metabolite 5-hydroxy-indole acetic acid (5-HIAA) in cerebrospinal Xuid (CSF) are associated with violent behavior. Hypoglycemia; may trigger a series of physiological changes and behaviors including aggression. These type of research are causal as they are aimed at finding the cause and effect.

There is some evidence indicating that REM sleep, associated with dreaming, may also play a role in learning and memory processing. For example, Smith and Lapp (1991) found increased REM activity for college students during exam periods. Suppose that REM activity for a sample of 16 students during the final exam period produced an average score of M = 143. Regular REM activity for college students averages µ = 110 with a standard deviation of σ  = 50. Do these data...
