Following are some of the ways that individual differences in behavior are related to brain functioning:
(1)The central nervous system has a fundamental role in the control of behavior. The brain in conjugation with the spinal cord receive signals from the afferent neurons and send signals to muscles and glands through efferent neurons.
(2)These signals lead us to show fifferent behaviors at individual level as per the information processed by our brain in any circumstances.
(3)For example: The neurotransmitters, or brain chemicals, are responsible for our moods and of the general state that we are in.
(4)In an another example, lesions or damage to the frontal lobes and to other parts of the brain can affect drastically the brain functioning.
These effects in brain functioning can lead to impulses and impulsive behaviors at an individual level.
