Answer #1

The price of the state governments differs, but with a similarity that all the states follow the same price policy which came into existence during the depression years. The price policy makers claim that price regulations are necessary to end unfair market practices, hoarding, monopoly etc, but, the bureaucracy and the government clearly neglects the welfare of the consumers while doing so. If the consumers were the center of policy making for prices they would not have been paying extra amounts for the basic needs of daily life, things of necessities would have been cheaper and affordable to everyone. This would have increased the life standard of the common people, as they would have had extra amount to spare for other things.
