Issues and challenges related to transgender are very complex. They are more related to stereotypes and people ways of looking at thing from their own perspective. Some of strategies are

Using appropriate name and pronoun. Not all transgender identify themselves similarly. So one must ask the person what he/she likes to be called. This also give respect to their choice of identity.

Having public facilities accommodative of transgender. Restroom either must have separate arrangement for transgender or they must be allowed to choose any. Privacy issues must be kept at secondary and primary should be accorded to choice of transgendered.

Public policy must take into account the concern of transgender while forumulation and implementation.

Special preferences in job and business may be provided to the the community so that they can match to the standards of other gender.

Appropriate role models are best thing to promote the self efficacy and motivate transgender community to excel in all sphere of life.
