Following are the factors that contribute to the building of self esteem :-

1) Own attitude :- Our own attitude helps us to build it our self esteem. Like if our attitude to deal the problems is positive then our self esteem would be positive too.

2) Society :- Society is formed by people which are around us and they form norms which we need to follow and these norms helps us to building our self esteem as these norms are based on ethics and morality.

​​​​​​3) Friends :- Friends are the one who has very huge impact on our personality and behavior. We imitate those things which we see our friend is doing. Similarly, if the self esteem of our friends are high, then our self esteem would be also very high accordingly.

4) Thinking approach and skills :- Our thinking approach and cognitive abilities are very important factor in developing our self esteem as we are totally depends on it.
