This is the most common example of deductive reasoning. In this type of reasoning, the premises are reasoned logically to deduce the conclusion which is certainly true. In inductive reason, the conclusion is probably true but not necessarily true. Here, statement 1 says that everyone in the classroom is a Bryant & Stratton student. Statement 2 says that Joe is part of the classroom. So we can conclude with statement 3 that Joe is a Bryant & Stratton student because he is part of "everyone" and he is in the classroom.
