No, it is not true to assume that haaving wealth protect some people from being lebelled as deviant or criminal.It has been observed that people having wealth also engage themselves in criminal activities aor shows deviant characteristics.

Likewise it is also false to assume that every poor person are deviant or criminal.To be criminal or deviant is entirely a mental process. If a person is mentally sick irrespective of wealthy or non wealthy, that person is deveoping the characteristics of deviant behaviour or engage in criminal activities.
