Describe ONE thing you learned from either Peter singer or Tibor Machan author that compelled you to either 1) change or weaken your belief about the value of animals (and whether or not you should eat them) or 2) strengthen your belief. Be sure to briefly summarize the author's idea and then how it weakened or strengthened your belief.
I learnt following idea (or ONE thing) from Peter Singer, a professor of bioethics at Princeton and the University of Melbourne, & the author of the book Animal Liberation:
Animals' interests should be given equal weight to those of humans. Principle of equality requires that we give equal consideration to the interests of all sentient creatures.
It completely changed by belief about value of animals. I have decided that further in my life I will never consider to eat any animal or animal product as food. It changed (weakened) my belief that we should eat animals because definitely animals are also a life form like we human and they also experience pain and pleasure. So, fundamentally we must prevent slaughtering animals for food because in this world there are so many vegetarian alternatives.
Kindly do like if It Helped!
Thank you!!!
