During his campaign for president, Barack Obama used the phrase "post-racial America," which was understood as an ideal of race and other identity groups ceasing to be targets of prejudice. Although such tolerance has come a long way since the 1950s, what more could be done to bring the United States to a completely "post-racial" society?

United States appears to have come a long way but in reality still lot more has to be done. There still exists racism, discrimination and prejudice against certain races. The case of George Floyd is an example. The Government and the citizens need to bring out certain changes to make it a complete post-racial society. There shouldn't be any discriminations in the reservations made for education and jobs. In all the organizations, pirvate and public, equality of all the races should be encouraged and the lack of it should be complained and actioned upon immediately. Also, cases of bullying, murder of people based on race should be severely penalized, more than other crimes, to instill fear in the hearts of people and to discipline them.
