For elevating the maturity levels amongst youth today we should try to improve their emotional quotient. Teaching them the ways of managing and controlling their emotions is very important. Making them socialize with friends who leave a positive effect on their lives and who have values in their life is also a good way of elevating the maturity level as according to reports crimes are generally committed in groups in adolescents. Imparting moral values to our children while we are nurturing them makes them mature beyond their years and not fall prey to material allurements and commit crimes. For example when we make our kids realize the importance of a simple and honest life they don’t fall prey to material attractions and commit crimes such as stealing that they may often do.
