At the end of a week of practicing mindfulness, please share your experience. Discuss which exercise you selected and the experience you had with it. Did you find practicing mindfulness helpful? In what ways? Do you believe you will continue to practice mindfulness? If yes, why. If no, why not.

I first began practising mindfulness when I started learning yoga about a year ago. During these classes, we were required to meditate for 15 minutes. Initially, it was extremely challenging for me to sit still and focus my thoughts only on the present, I was, with practice, able to develop that skill. Most days now start with a meditation practice or yoga. I find it helps set me up for nice calm and relaxed start to the day. I do another meditation practice in before bed which I’ve found helps me get some better quality sleep and working informal practice in when the opportunity arises.
