Wit the problems in perception and failure in prediction of some of the recent events, there has been an increase in this distrust.
The newspaper industry or the information media industry has become the victim of this mistrust, further, people get affected by the idealised images put forward by the peers and other people they know.
According to the principal of social responsibility,people in media should be having transparency as well as accountability such that there would be long term viability. Achieving profit should not be at gene expense of of exploiting people, which is done in case of information media.
Hence, the distrust is because the people think that the information media is perceived in a completely negative character.
