If you were a leader in a law enforcement agency, how would you promote the use of research with your staff, keeping in mind there may be some resistance.

I think the best way to tackle resistance when teaching something new is breaking down the barriers to learning that may have developed through prejudice amd/or ignorant knowledge.

One way to do that would be introducing them to activated information, ?? break preconceived notions. By showing them various tactics in a non threatening way that does not question their abilities but makes them curious instead.

By also showing them the true essence of their work and not by demeaning them or their morale of work ethic.
