Racial profiling is definitely a prejudice. Racial profiling is nothing but targetting a individual or suspecting a individual of a certain race solely on the basis of their behaviour and characteristics.

If you suspecting a group belonging to a race for certain crime, you are completely ignoring the possibility of other races being responsible for the crime. This is what called as racism or prejudice.

You can see this in day to day life. People show alot of prejudice because of the racial profiling.
