According to him, Athenian democracy refers to justice. In this democracy, people were given funeral in public who died in war. The dead bodies of the soldiers were kept in a tent for three days and after that a funeral procession was held. In that, "Cypress coffins are borne in cars, one for each tribe, the bones of the decreased being placed in the coffin of their tribe."
