Answer #1

Chapter 4 in Matthew describes the temptation of Christ by Satan and how he overcomes it and chapter 5 sets the fundamental practices one should follow in order to be a complete human being. Satan tempts Jesus by offering him comfort and material possession which Jesus overcame by condemning and driving the Satan away. Jesus thus inspires people not to lose their integrity in times of temptation. Chapter 5 as it is fondly called as Sermon on the Mount clearly shows the path to a happy and content life. It talks about the negative impacts of anger, lust, divorce, unnecessary oaths, retaliation and treating enemies. He also touches upon the poor, suffering, innocent, peacemaking and righteousness etc. All these are basics of ethical thoughts and behaviors needed for an individual who belongs to a religion.

4. Practice with Tukey's HSD To investigate the maternal behavior of laboratory rats, a researcher moves a rat pup a fixed distance from its mother and record the time (in seconds) required for the mother to retrieve the pup to the nest. We run a study with 5-, 10-, and 15-day-old pups. We are interested in examining whether there is a change in maternal behavior (i.e., retrieval of the pups) over time. (Higher numbers indicate that the mother is less...
