Describe how Social Cognitive Theory is used to implement a program aimed at a population of individuals at risk for uncontrolled diabetes. Please explain your reasoning.

Since according to the social cognitive theory an individual's knowledge acquisition is generally directly related to observing others within their social interactions, experiences, and outside media influence.

Thus implementing a program aimed at a population of individuals at risk for uncontrolled diabetes can be based on this notion if the cognitive theory that such individuals who are at risk may be living with uneducated and aware people. Hence while implementing a program for such people we should educate the people at risk for change in lifestyle such as healthy diet low in carbohydrate, controlling of weight and physical activity so that the disease is prevented or if people are suffering the progress delayed.
