The slaves wanet dto save themselves form the shackles of slavery. They perform a lot of activiotes in everday basis to help them escape slavery. Some ways are as follows:

  • Day-to-day resistance: It was the most common form of opposition to slavery. The slaves break tools, feigning illness, staging slowdowns, and committing acts of sabotage.
  • Slave rebellion: The most dramatic way of resisting slavery was to engage in a slave rebellion. Slave rebellions generally involved slaves trying to kill whites.
  • Running away: It was a difficult thing to do. Slaves had to leave behind family members and risk harsh punishment or even death if caught. Many of the successful runaways only triumphed after multiple attempts.
