Does an action done with good intentions, but negative consequences, deserve punishment?
According to me if the action is done with good intentions , but the consequences are bad or negative , the person does not deserve the punishment. This is because since the intentions behind the action were good and positive , the person did not do that action intentionally to hurt someone but wanted to do good genuinely.
In such a case punishing the person may cause him to do the bad action intentionally next time. So one should never be punished for the actions which were meant to act positively , but turned out negative due to some reasons.
