1. Physiological changes are the course that the normal functions of living organisms and their parts take across the developmental lifespan. These changes occur with aging in all organ systems.
2. Basking in reflected glory is the phenomenon whereby an individual associates themselves with known successful others such that the individual experiences a sense of victory whenever the successful other accomplishes anything.
3. Emotions are an affective state of consciousness in which joy, sorrow, fear, hate, or the like, is experienced.
4. Modern-day racism runs on the staunch denial that white systemically benefit from the colour of their skin, and that deep inequalities in that exist in world are simply the result of differences in individual merit.
