'Roseanne' show was Canceled at ABC Following Racist Tweet was this the right thing to do? was the tweet that bad the show deserved to canceled but what about the the other stars? In just a few words explain why this was a good thing and/or bad.

In my view, cancelling an entire show for a racist tweet was perhaps the right thing to do. Roseanne Barr, a highly noted public figure, acted irresponsibly and made abhorrent comments on a platform with millions of viewers. By cancelling the show, ABC has sent across a clear message that it will not tolerate any such behaviour from its associates. Although this is a harsh step to take, it has perhaps set a fitting example for individuals in the television industry to never engage in these behaviours on a public forum.
