A study that was conducted with people affiliating rudeness with power, wherein participants were made to observe people in a normal setting and were made to observe people, it was found that people found the visitor who entered and took coffee from the counter wherein it was written for 'Employees only' more in control and powerful despite his rudeness.

The independent varibale was rudeness and the DV was the affiliation of power and control.
