The various theoretical perspectives of the causes of prejudice include;

a way for people to blame others for their problems i.e. the Scapegoat theory.

in order to hold onto their possessions, power, and status, privileged classes justify its behaviors that keep the other groups down according to the conflict theory.

authoritarian personalities believe that some people are just better than others according to the authoritarian personality theory.

Prejudice can be part of the norms of a culture according to the culture theory.

According to me the conflict theory of the origin of prejudice is most credible as the societies which had the owner and working class have most prejudice as ultimately economic disparity leads to all types of prejudice and its perpetuation.
