Choose an object that displays some sort of motion in your everyday life. Explain the changes in the velocity, acceleration, and net force for this object.
Consider the motion of earth around the sun in elliptical orbit. Earth' velocity is not constant during its rotational motion. This is central force problem and angular momentum for earth is constant where m is mass of earth, v is its speed of rotation and r is distance from sun. Hence when earth is nearer to sun it has larger speed and lesser when it is far from sun. Acceleration also change during this motion. At nearer point acceleration (chage in velocity with time) is higher than farest point in elliptical orbit. Net force on earth is zero to balance it. Gravitational force of sun is cancelled by force due to centripital acceleration i.e. here M is mass of sun.
