Answer #1

Given:

Maximum value of the electric field

component is = E = 2.00 V/m.

The B field can be found by the

fallowing formula :

B = E/ C

where C is the velocity of

light : 3 x 108 m/s

thus, B = 6.22 / 3 x108

   = 2.07 x 10-8 Tesla

Intensity:

   I = Emax2   / 2 ? oc

        = 6.222 / ( 2 x 4? x 10-7 x 3 x 108)

         =0.051 W/m2
