Static electricity is imbalance of electric charge within or surface of material and it remains unless it move by the means of electric current or electric discharging

There are several way to make static electricity

Polarization, conduction and induction

Polarization occur when electric field distorts the negative cloud of elections around the positive charge atom nuclei in direction opposite the field .

In induction we brought some charge neart neutral charge body due to which there is induction of charge and finally we ground the neutral body so that neagtive charge flow to earth and there will be only positive charge on body.

In conduction we just connect the body in induction process for direct charging
