In a circuit there is a battery which has got potential difference and that is the source of power for the circuit.

Resistor is the property of the substance which obstructs the flow of current. It also dissipates electrical energy into heat form.

for a simple circuit all three are related by this equation E=i.R

E denotes emf, R resistance, and i current

b) For a circuit where resistors are in series Req.=R1+R2+R3+... i.e Total equivalent resistance= sum of individual resistance

After finding Req., you can use simple circuit equation to find solution

For a parallel circuit (1/Req.)=(1/R1)+(1/R2)+(1/R3)+...

Find Req. and put this value in simple circuit equation.
