Let us assume an object with a certain mass ' m ' which is kept on an inclined plane.

The force called as " Component of the Weight " along the Incline which is given by the equation,

mgsinθ, where = angle of incline

How ever this holds true where friction is not taken into consideration. If it were, then this equation would not hold true.
