Explain succinctly how electricity is created by a thermoelectric generator. Make sure to discuss the various components that are necessary for such a device to operate. (This question can be answered using 1-2 paragraphs)

Answer #1

Thermoelectric generators generate electricity by taking the difference of temperature in the comparments or modules.

We know that metals have got free electrons that can move in metal. This makes metals good conductor of both heat and electricity.

Heating one end of a thermoelectric material causes the free electrons to move from one end to another, to be precise from hot end to cold. We know that current is the flow of charge, so this generates electric power. The more the temperature diffrence is maintained, the more electrons flow occurs, the more current is there and more power is generated.
