net force = m1*a
T - m1*g*sintheta = m1*a ..............(1)
for mass m2
net force = m2*a
m2*g*sintheta - T = m2*a....................(2)
adding 1 and 2
m2*g*sintheta - m1*g*sintheta = (m1+m2)*a
acceleration a = g*(m2 - m1)*sintheta/(m1+m2)
acceleration a = 9.8*(8-3.5)*sin40/(3.5+8) = 2.45 m/s
