1- What are the 4 detectors in the LHC and what types of objects does each detect or study?
2- Why is gravity thought to be "weaker than weak" ?
3- What is Higgs Boson ?
1. 4 detectors in the LHC-
ALICE (studying quark-gluon plasma)
ATLAS (studying Higgs boson and looking for origin of mass and extra dimensions)
CMS (studying Higgs boson and loook for clue of new Physics)
LHCb (missing antimatter)
2. Weak nucear force is 1025 times stronger than gravity, hence gravity is thought to be weaker than weak.
3. Higgs Boson is an elementary particle which is responsible for mass of other particles. Mass fundamentally couldn't exist without Higgs Boson.
I will be glad to see your comment if you have any query and thumb up if you are satisfied. Thanks....
