Where are P-violation and CP-violation in the Standard Model Lagrangian?
CP-symmetry states that the laws of physics should be the same if a particle is interchanged with its antiparticle (C symmetry) while its spatial coordinates are inverted ("mirror" or P symmetry).
Violation of P symmetry basically occurs in every weak interaction and CP violation was observed in the decay of CP odd state KL0 into two pions, which themselves are in CP even state, Cp violations were also observed in the decay of B-meson at the BABAR and Belle experiments.
