Tycho was not only a scientist, he was also an artist, craftsman. He observed some of the important astronomical observations that was quite accurate than previous calculations and that too before the invention of telescopes. That's why he deserves fame.

Johannes Kepler made important contribution to the planetary model. He made the universe dynamic in nature. He also studied the behaviour of light in the telescope. At his time there was a very weak scientific environment around him. He made his observations in such difficult times.

Kepler's 3 laws of planetary motion:

All planets move in elliptical orbits with the sun
at a focus.

The radius vector from the sun to the planet
sweeps equal area in equal time interval

The square of the time period of a planet is
proportional to the cube of the semimajor axis of
the elliptical orbit
