Beachball

Similarly, bouncing the beachball its kinetic energy and gravitational potential energy increase because it speed up and also height increases. During freefall gravitational potential energy decrease due to decreases in height but also speed up so, kinetic energy increase.

Now comparing in terms of mass

mass of basketball is greater than beachball
